Fancy trying your hand at on-glaze decorating, under the expert guidance of Emma Bailey ? In the beautiful heritage surroundings of Middleport pottery , once the home of “The great pottery throw down.”
You will start your session by choosing a small blank item of your choice, once chosen you will begin by drawing your design onto the piece.
You will have a variety of coloured glazes from which you can start your design, with a demo from Emma to get you on your way.
Emma will be on hand through the duration to help and advise.
Once your piece is decorated , it will be fired and ready to collect the following week.
Included in the workshop :
A small decorative piece to decorate .
All tools , brushes , glazes , mediums , and firing.
Hot and cold refreshments.
